Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS A SURPLUS PART?
It is a part that has been purchased as part of a surplus lot. Most lots are obtained from contractors and other companies who liquidate inventory.

IS A SURPLUS PART A NEW PART?

In most cases, it is! After careful inspection, we classify all parts in our inventory based on its actual condition. We consider all unused parts as new. In most cases, they are still in the original packaging.

DO YOU RECONDITION COMPONENTS?
No. We offer reconditioned components that have been rebuilt by dealers or other qualifying re-builders. In most cases, reconditioned components are available with a Dyno or Bench Test report.

ARE RECONDITIONED COMPONENTS SOLD ON AN OUTRIGHT BASIS?
No. Components are sold on an exchange basis for an outright price. Please contact our sales department.

ARE YOUR USED PARTS INSPECTED?
Absolutely. When we receive used parts, they are inspected by our trained technicians. In many cases, they are also cleaned and repainted.

WHAT IS A CONDITION ‘B’ PART?
It is a new part in less than perfect condition. In many cases, they are parts removed from new components. As it is very apparent that these items have been installed but removed as a new part, we classify them as Condition ’B’. They can also be new parts with cosmetic blemishes.
