The Durabuilt™ 2500 series is a general purpose track for light to medium agricultural applications. This track is the successor to the Hi-Yield™ series, and provides customers with similar tread life, while significantly improving guide lug and carcass durability. These tracks are appropriate for standard rowcrop work (narrow widths) and for high speed tillage (wider widths). They offer a good balance of track performance and value. |

In 2005, the Durabuilt™ 3500 series became the standard John Deere 8020T series factory installed track. The Durabuilt™ 3500 series is a track for use in all agricultural applications and provides additional durability over the Hi-Yield™/Durabuilt™ 2500 series. The 3500 series increases both the carcass thickness and the amount of tread volume to increase overall life. An aggressive 8.3" tread pitch is also available by special order in the 25 and 30 in widths. |

The Durabuilt™ 5500 series includes all the best features of the 3500 series, plus adds more rubber and more steel to meet the most demanding applications. These features include larger main cable on all widths for increased carcass tear strength, a much heavier carcass construction, 15% larger guide lugs, and 50% larger treadbar tip width. This track is recommended for use in both agricultural and construction applications, and is the heaviest track available in the market.

The 16" width is used for special purpose rowcrop work, where track width is the primary consideration. These tracks are subjected to the most demanding alignment conditions and material loading. The choice is highly dependent on knowledge of the severity of the application in order to choose the correct track series. The Durabuilt™ 2500 is an excellent choice for general rowcrop work, while the the Durabuilt™ 3500 and 5500 are appropriate choices for deep bed applications, where carcass life may be the limiting factor. Note: Durabuilt™ 5500 tracks use a Camoplast exclusive directional tread pattern, and are LH/RH directional. |
